DRESSING IN STYLE – Cheryl Boutee models one of the “new seasons” fashions. The University of La Verne’s Black Student Union (BSU) sponsored a fashion show in the Dailey Theater last Tuesday evening. All proceeds go to BSU. The models were La Verne College students, and the fashions were supplied by local merchants: Bill Gamble’s, Contempo Casuals, Cuff n’ Collar and Miller’s Outpost. Entertaining the crowd with grace and effectiveness were freshman Dona Dave and senior Gregory Hopkins who were the master and mistress of ceremonies. / photo by Karen Tapia
