Smashing Pumpkins

On Halloween day, KULV, the University radio station will give away 13 full cassettes of the latest Smashing Pumpkins’ album, Pisces Iscariot.

Spring Registration

Spring registration begins Nov. 1 for seniors and honor students, Nov. 2 for juniors, seniors, and honor students and Nov. 3 for all students. Schedules and instructions will be sent to mail boxes. Registration packets are also available in the Registrar’s Office in Woody Hall.

GATT—Pros and Cons

Dr. Ahmed Ispahani, professor of business and economics, will present a forum on the pros and cons of the general agreement on free trade at the next Hot Spots. He will also discuss the possible establishment of world trade organizations. This installment of Hot Spots will take place on Thursday, Nov. 3, from noon to 1 p.m. in the President’s Dining Room.

Costa Rica Meeting

There will be a preparatory meeting today for the 1995 January Interterm class trip to Costa Rica. It will be held at noon in the Campus Times room in the Student Center. The trip is Jan. 9-17.

Jazz Band

The Jim Cullum Jazz Band will be performing at the Ambassador Per­form­ing Arts Center in Pasadena on Sunday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. Ticket information can be obtained by calling the Ambassador Ticket office at 1-800-CONCERT, the office is located at 300 West Green St. Ticket prices range from $19 to $22.
