Deadline Extended

The deadline for submissions for the Spring 1995 edition of Prism has been extended through Friday, March 17. Submissions can consist of short stories, essays, photographs, and poetry. For more information or questions, contact Carol W. Fetty, Miller Hall 216, or at ext. 4360.

Spotlight Weekend

Students interested in hosting a high school student for Spotlight Weekend, March 17-18, should contact the Admis­sions Office for more information. There will be a dance on Friday night, March 17, in the Student Center from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Family Portraits

There will be an exhibit of portraits by Tracy Lee Taylor in the Irene Carlson Gallery from March 20 through April 21. There is a opening reception on Thursday, March 23, 6 to 8 p.m.

The portraits are of children and their parents, accompanied by stories written by the children about their families.

Poems Wanted

The Sparrowgrass Poetry Forum is looking for poetry to put in a hardcover anthology titled “Treasured Poems of America.” There will be a grand Prize of $500 with 34 other cash prizes awarded. The deadline to submit poems is May 31.

Poems can be sent to Sparrowgrass Poetry Forum INC., Dept. E, 203 Diamond Street, Sistersville, WV 26175.

Senior photo exhibition reflects diverse points of view

The “Nine Reflections: 2026 Senior Thesis Exhibition” is now on display in the Irene Carlson Gallery of Photography. The exhibit showcases photos from the senior projects of nine photography majors.
