With 308 ballots cast for the 1996 Homecoming court, the 35 original nominees were reduced yesterday to 10 princes and princesses.
The princes are Jose Barba, an international business major nominated by Phi Sigma Sigma; Ray Garza, a music major nominated by Iota Delta; Scott Mac Kay, a communications major nominated by Phi Delta Theta; Philip Rudulph, a business management major nominated by the Cheer squad; and Joe Martinez, a political science major nominated by ASF.
The princesses are Tammy Abedo, a psychology major nominated by IFSC; Tieu-My Nguyen, a French and business administration major nominated by Alpha Kappa Psi; Amy Levy, a chemistry major nominated by Sigma Kappa; Christina Tejeda, a diversified education major nominated by ASF; Shannon McCrea, a behavorial science major nominated by Iota Delta.
Voting for the king and queen will be Nov. 4, 5 and 7 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the seal.
The king will be announced at halftime of the Powder Puff game, Friday, Nov. 8 and the queen will be announced at halftime of the Homecoming game on Saturday, Nov. 9.
