‘Cotton Patch Gospel’
Troupe America presents “Cotton Patch Gospel,” Harry Chapin’s bluegrass musical. It will be shown Friday, April 4, at 8 p.m. at the Haugh Performing Arts Center at Citrus College. New Films
Opening today in general release is the third installment of the “Star Wars” Special Edition, “Return of the Jedi,” starring Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher.
Also in general release is “City of Industry” starring Harvey Keitel, Timothy Hutton and Stephen Dorff.
Playing at the Royal in West Los Angeles and the AMC in Woodland Hills is a re-release of the 1967 classic “The Graduate,” starring Dustin Hoffman, Anne Bancroft and Katharine Ross.
Magic Mountain
Opening Saturday at Six Flags Magic Mountain is Superman the Escape, the world’s fastest roller coaster, traveling at a speed of 100 mph. Magic Mountain is open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is $34 and $17 for children under 48 inches. Call (805) 255-4111 for additional information.
