Dia de los Muertos celebrated at University

Elena Cardeña, Catholic Campus Minister, participated with the Latino Student Forum in a Day of the Dead ceremony Tuesday night. The ceremony traditionally takes place on Nov. 2 throughout Mexico, especially in the state of Michoacan where it is very common. The event corresponds with All Souls Day and is "a way to remember the dead," said Cardeña.
