The University of La Verne’s Associated Student Federation (ASF) Forum met in the ASF Conference Room Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 8:34 a.m. In addition to updating progress for the remainder of this week’s Homecoming activities, the Forum also discussed the proposal of an idea to sponsor a winter dance for the University’s student body.
All ballots for this year’s Homecoming queen and king have been cast, and the results have been determined. The 1998 Homecoming queen and king will be announced during the halftime presentation at Saturday’s football game against Redlands.
Next week’s Forum meeting will review all Homecoming events. However, it will be closed to the University community thereafter so ASF members can discuss interpersonal issues and hold a semi-retreat for the Forum.
Freshman Representative Rattana Kim proposed sponsoring a winter dance for the ULV community during the semester. Several members of the Forum moved to consider the request, and it was decided that the proposal would be tabled until all Homecoming activities were over.
