ASF Minutes

The University of La Verne’s Associated Student Federation (ASF) Forum met in the West Dining Room Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 8:37 a.m. Forum members discussed new procedures for filling positions on its Financial Review Board. In addition, members listened to a proposal from a representative from the Red Cross, regarding the upcoming blood drive at the University.

FRB Election

The Forum will be holding a new application process to fill four positions on its Financial Review Board.

Positions are available to one on-campus student, one commuter student, one freshman student and one new student.

Those interested in the positions may contact ASF at ext. 4677 for details.

Blood Drive

Debbie Miller, a Red Cross donor recruitment representative, presented to the Forum an idea to better encourage the ULV community to donate blood at its upcoming blood drive.

The drive is scheduled for Tuesday, March 23, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Old Gym. Students, faculty and staff are strongly encouraged to participate in this life-saving opportunity.

Clark steps back to faculty track

Humanities Al Clark is not teaching, he is either researching for his book, interviewing for an oral history project or inspiring others to donate blood. Clark first entered the University to teach in 1976 and then became a full-time administrator in 1978, holding the position of associate vice president for academic affairs until Sept. 1.
