Event showcases latest in formal wear

The Campus Activities Board hosted a “Leos to Impress” Roblox fashion show event inspired by the video game “Dress to Impress” Tuesday in the Campus Center Ballroom.

Six women of La Verne took to the runway at the Womyn’s Herstory Business Attire Fashion Show Wednesday evening in the Campus Center Ballroom to display chic and professional outfits that will leave a good impression on future employers.

A young woman, dressed in a black, floor length gown, stood barefoot at the entrance to Founders Hall with an embroidered black veil tightly masking her face. At the base of the steps sat another young woman dressed similarly. Between them were rows of burning candles, and all around them were rows of chairs and people, anxiously awaiting the arrival of the fashion show.
