Concrete apron placed around Rock to protect ground

Further steps were taken to save the Rock as Jonescape Construction Company began work on a concrete apron around the Rock Tuesday afternoon. Associate Student Federation (ASF) Forum Senator of the Environment Rhiannon Jensen said the purpose of the concrete apron was to "be a barrier between the Rock and the soil in order to stop various toxins from getting into the soil."
