The Harris Art Gallery will present Ghost Town Project, as the opening of the Harris Project Series. Ghost Town Project is a film and video installation by artist Martin Betz, for which miniature movie set and filming apparatus have been constructed. The show runs Oct. 2 through Nov. 27. The gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
There will be an opening reception on Thursday, Oct. 5 from 6-8 p.m.
Alfred Hitchcock’s “Young and Innocent” and “Jamaica Inn” will be screened at USC’s Lucas Theater and part of the Hitch 101 Film Festival. The screenings are free and begin at 5 p.m. For reservations call (213) 740-2167.
