Present and future Greeks should hope to find much improvement in their organizations after the formation of a new Greek Review Board.
Michael Houdyshell, coordinator of Campus Activities and Commuter Programs, as well as the Greek adviser, formed the Greek Review Board to look at the organizations on campus that fit into the social Greek category.
“Since my time here, I have felt that the Greek life has been suffering, and not doing as well as they deserve to be. As Greek adviser, I try to help as much as I can to improve the present Greek life, as well as the future Greek life,” said Houdyshell.
The review board was formed to address the needs of Greeks and to recommend options or solutions to help make the needed changes and improvements.
The review board consists of faculty, staff and students, and encourages the participation of non-Greek students as well.
Houdyshell said he welcomes the non-Greek students because he feels that things should be looked at from all angles to work toward the greater good.
“I hope to learn something from this, too,” said Houdyshell. “Things could always get better.”
