Did You Know?

Jake Swann, a sophomore outside hitter for the ULV men’s volleyball team was named AVCA/Sports Imports Division III Men’s National Player of the Week. Swann averaged 4.29 kills and one dig per game in La Verne’s victories over New York University and Park University.

Golf gives students tee-rific chance to de-stress

The University’s Campus Activities Board hosted a “Golf’d Up” event Tuesday at Citrus Lawn, complete with a virtual golf simulator experience for students, mini putt, free sub sandwiches and chips.

Men’s golf takes first place at Poet Challenge

The La Verne men’s golf team won the Poet Challenge by a close margin of one point under Chapman 312-313. Sophomore Pitiluk Phanomchai, who was recently  nominated Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week, took first place helping to ensure the win for the Leopards after prevailing through the rain last week.

Golf dominates fall matches

The men’s golf team wrapped up its winter season with a fifth-place finish at the Firestorm Invitational in Arizona on Nov. 13.

Golfers earn national title berth

The men’s golf team ended its season with multiple strong performances, earning a trip to the NCAA Division III Championships May 15-18 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
