Mike Bennett Trio plays afternoon concert

Wednesday the music department put on an afternoon concert with the Mike Bennett Trio. The Trio included Professor of Music Reed Gratz on the Fender Rhodes, music major Mike Bennett on drums, and Fullerton graduate Jeff Hawley playing bass. Bennett received the Down Beat Magazine Award for Best Rock Ensemble for his work with the band "The Cabana Boys," formed at Fullerton College. Bennett was also nominated by Down Beat Magazine for Collegiate Drummer of the Year. / photo by Jenna Campbell
