‘The Trojan Women’
James Darrah’s senior thesis, “The Trojan Women” will be performed at 7:30 p.m. tonight and Saturday on the Cabaret stage of Dailey Theatre.

Getty exhibits crime scenes
The Getty Center is currently showcasing “Scenes of the Crime,” which features the work of notorious photojournalist known simply as Weegee. During the 1930s and 40s, he photographed everything from riots to film screenings in Manhattan.
Also featured, “Pictures for the Press” is a collection of historic images such as John F. Kennedy’s assassination and civil rights demonstrations in the South. Both exhibits are part of the “American Visions” series.
The Getty Center is located on 1200 Getty Center Dr. in Los Angeles. The museum is closed on Mondays and admission is free.

M.I.A. at the Glasshouse
M.I.A. is scheduled to perform at 7:30 p.m. on Monday at the Glasshouse in Pomona.
This British-born artist, who moved to her parents’ native Sri Lanka as a child, combines her unique cultural and political views with dance hall, hip hop and world music to produce a truly original, innovative sound.
M.I.A. is currently promoting her first full-length album, “Arular,” which was released in March.
