Halloween Hop!

The La Verne community is invited to enjoy a night of dancing at the “Halloween Hop,” held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today in the Main Hall of the Community Center in La Verne. For ticket information please call the Parks and Community Service Office at (909) 596-8700.

Halloween Live

Tune in to LVTV from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday to catch Billy Bob the Hillbilly host Halloween skits and surprises. Everyone is welcome to make a live appearance to trick-or-treat, tell a scary story and even tell a Halloween joke.

The LVTV studio is located on the corner of D Street and Arrow Highway in La Verne.

Public Debate

Lordsburg Debate Union will hold its first public debate of the year at 4 p.m. on Nov. 17 in La Fetra Lecture Hall. The topic for debate: This house believes that the city of La Verne should lift its ban on Greek housing.
