Pomona City Cleanup

Members of the ULV community are invited to participate in the Pomona City Cleanup from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. tomorrow at Ganesha Park in Pomona. The event seeks to bring the community together for a day of graffiti cleanup, free food, live music and college information. High school and college students, including the University of La Verne, from the area will combine to promote the value of higher education and the college experience. Faculty awards announced

The names of the inaugural members of the ULV Academy will be announced to the University community at the Annual Faculty and Staff Recognition Ceremony at 11:30 a.m. today in Founders Auditorium.

The ULV Academy, created by the Faculty Research Committee, will become an advocate for scholarship and publication at the University and will elect new members once or twice a year to be inducted at the annual ceremony.
