On April 15, Major League Baseball will honor the 60th anniversary of Jackie Robinson becoming the first African American of the modern era to play in the major leagues, for the Brooklyn Dodgers. In tribute, every member of the Los Angeles Dodgers will wear his uniform number, 42, in that day’s game against the San Diego Padres.
