ULV Theatre

The ULV Theatre Department is still featuring their production of Carlo Gozzi’s “The King Stag.”

The play will be at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and a Sunday matinee will be at 2 p.m.

Next week will also feature performances by the students in the directing class.

Choral Concert

There will be a Christmas concert performed by the ULV Choral Organizations at 8 p.m. on Friday at the La Verne Church of the Brethren.

The concert will be conducted by Stephen Gothold.

The performance is free.

Cabaret Show

“The Cycle” will be presented by the African American Theatre Work­shop at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Jane Dibbell Cabaret.

Admission is free.

New Movies

New movies in theaters this week include “The Golden Compass,” “Grace is Gone” and “Atonement.”

Current box office hits still playing include: “Enchanted,” “Beowulf,” “This Christmas” and “Awake.”

Anaheim Bands

Chain Reaction will be featuring several well-known bands from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Friday.

The Anaheim venue will be showcasing bands Quietdrive, Over It, Verona Grove, The Red Coterie and Narwhal.

Tickets will be $12 at the door.
