Face cleansers, body lotions, and masks are just some of the things that help us feel renewed, fresh and beautiful. Trying to find that perfect product can be difficult at times.
Bliss offers spa-like products so the busy person who does not have time to go to the spa can use one of its products to get the same spa feel.
Facial cleansers are very important for the average beauty regimine. One must use a cleanser to remove all the dirt, make-up and grime of the day. Bliss’ Fabulous Foaming Face Wash is a neat 2-in-1 cleanser and exfoliator. The rose hip, chamomile and passion flower ingredients leave your skin feeling clean and soft. It smells really good too.
It is gentle for all skin types, and the chamomile soothes sensitive skin.
It comes in a pump bottle convenient for traveling because the top locks, preventing the face wash from spilling.
The face cleanser costs $22. Yes, this face cleanser is over 20 bucks, but it is not as expensive as some other department store face washes. Plus, it gives you that sought after spa feeling.
But for those who want something a little less expensive, try L’Oreal’s new exfoliating scrub called “Go 360 Clean.” It is in a clear orange bottle and has a great smelling peach scent.
This scrub exfoliates dead skin cells that linger on your skin and creates breakouts. It also unclogs pores by removing dirt, oil and make-up. It also promises to make your pores look smaller.
The exfoliating scrub comes with a small rubber scrub applicator called the “Scrublet” that helps to remove even more dirt and dead skin cells when used with the cleanser. Personally, I like L’Oreal’s exfoliating scrub because the exfoliating beads are much rougher, which gives the feeling that it removes more dirt and it only costs $6.
Moving on to the body. Tired of dry, rough skin that winter left behind? Bliss offers a great body lotion free of paraben. It’s called Lemon and Sage Body Butter. It provides maximum moisture to those areas that seem to never get quenched and moisturized when you use other body creams and lotions. The body butter is thick, but it never leaves that greasy feeling.
It leaves your hands, legs and arms feeling soft and moist with not one dry flake in sight. Also, the smell of lemon and sage takes your mind right into a spa. It also contains coconut oil which helps soften the skin, and vitamin E to help protect and nourish the skin. It costs $28 for a generously sized bottle.
For those feeling like this is a bit expensive for their budget, try Olay’s Body Quench lotion which also relieves thirsty skin and delivers great amounts of moisture for dry skin for only $5. It contains shea butter and vitamin E to nourish and soothe the skin.
In my opinion, Olay’s body lotion is one of the best body lotions offered at drugstores.
Now back to the face. Putting a mask on your face makes most people feel like they just came out of the spa.
Bliss offers a Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask that is cool and innovative. It’s not your average clay or peel mask.
The consistency when first pumped out of the bottle and onto your face is like a gooey gel. Once you spread it all over your cleansed face and leave it on your face for five minutes, it begins to turn into a frothy foam.
While it’s turning into a frothy foam, you can feel it release oxygen molecules and detoxifers with its “Fluid02 technology” and it cleanses your pores. It contains vitamin C, and leaves a tingling feeling on your skin.
After five to seven minutes, you can rinse off the frothy foam to reveal a fresh, clean face free of impurities. I have never experienced or tried anything like this. It was the coolest thing I’ve ever tried. It costs $52. Yes, it’s on the pricey side, but it’s well worth it; the results are great.
But if you are still concerned about the price, try Boots Botantics Complexion Refining Clay Mask, which costs only $9. It can be purchased at Target, and is mainly for those with oily skin. But this mask is good for anyone who feels like his or her skin has been through a lot during the week.
After you take the mask off, you can feel that your pores are clean and grime free. I would recommend using this mask only once or twice a week because it may dry your skin.
Bliss products can be purchased online, at their store, ULTA or Sephora. L’Oreal, Olay and can be purchased at Target, Wal-Mart or at any drugstore.
