The final day to view the “American Dream” photography exhibit by Katherine Frey is today in the Carlson Gallery in Miller Hall.
’60s Movie Screening
CAB will host a ’60s themed movie screening at 1 p.m. on Tuesday in Sneaky Park as part of Homecoming Week, featuring the film “Taking Woodstock.”
The current exhibition in the Harris Art Gallery will be on display for the final day Thursday. The exhibit features the unconventional abstract art of six international artists from both Los Angeles and Melbourne, Australia.
As part of CAB’s Homecoming week events, the La Verne Dance Company will hold lessons on how to perform the moves of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday in Sneaky Park.
Art at the Edge of L.A.
The first “It Happened at Pomona” exhibition features Hal Glicksman at 8 a.m. today at Pomona College Museum of Art. Glicksman established one of the first museum residency programs for artists who used the museum space to create unique environments within the space itself.
Hip Kitty Concert
The eight piece swing, blues and boogie outfit, the Sugah Daddy Band, will perform from 8 p.m. to midnight on Saturday at the Hip Kitty Jazz and Fondue restaurant in Claremont. There is a $5 cover charge at the door.
