Winter Formal

The Campus Activities Board is hosting its annual winter formal March 2 with a “Young Wild and Free” theme. The event will be held at Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach, and doors open at 8 p.m. Limited transportation to the venue will be available on a first come basis at $5 per ticket. Tickets to the event are on sale at the Office of Student Life for $25, or pay $30 at the door. For more information, call 909-593-3511, ext. 4422.

‘Future of Food’ Event

Graduate students will hold an event at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Campus Center Ballroom to raise awareness about the California Right to Know Genetically Engineered Food Act. This includes a movie screening of “Future of Food” and the opportunity to be involved in a brief discussion about the initiative and sign a petition that will help get Genetically Modified Organism labeling on the ballot in the November election. Blood Drive

The Red Cross will take blood donations March 7 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Campus Center ballroom. For more information visit redcrossblood.org. The sponsor code is ULV. Walk-ins are welcome.
