Between 1:08 p.m. and 1:31 p.m. on Thursday, Campus Safety received calls reporting stolen electronics from the Athletic Pavilion and Stu-Han dormitory.
According to responding Officer J. Varrios, electronics were stolen out of the lockers that were left unlocked.
Two residents across campus also had personal items stolen.
Freshman Vicky Campos said she locked her room in Stu-Han when she left for lunch at 12:40 p.m.
Her roommate, Krystal Castellanos, returned and found the room unlocked and left to take a shower.
When Castellanos returned she discovered that her iPhone, wallet and laptop were missing along with Campos’ laptop. All of their electronic devices were apple products.
Sarah Mayo, a roommate of Campos and Castellanos, had no personal items stolen.
Everything that was taken was electronic, and they were left in unlocked places that were in plain sight Varrios said.
Varrios is unsure if one individual or multiple people were involved. In a memo Thursday, housing reminded students to report suspicious activity to Campus Safety.
