Cello Sonatas of Beethoven

The Pomona College music department presents the Complete Cello Sonatas of Beethoven- Part II at 8 p.m. tomorrow in the Bridges Hall of Music. Admission is free.

Reed Gratz Band

The Reed Gratz Band will perform at noon Friday in the Morgan Auditorium as part of the Fridays at Noon recital series. Admission is free.

‘Songs of Remembrance’

ULV Chamber Singers and Barbershop Singers will perform “Songs of Remembrance” at 6 p.m. Sunday in Morgan Auditorium. Students admission is free, and there is a $20 suggested donation.

Kristallnacht Lecture

In conjunction with the Jewish Book Festival, ULV is hosting a Kristallnacht Remembrance Lecture featuring Martin Goldsmith, author of “Alex’s Wake: A Voyage of Betrayal and a Journey of Remembrance” at 4 p.m. on Nov. 9 in the Campus Center. Limited seating is available and admission is free.

‘We Sold a Winner’

The Carlson Gallery exhibit “We Sold a Winner: On Resilient American Dreams” by Edie Bresler runs through Dec. 12. There will be a reception 5:30 p.m. Oct. 30 in the gallery. Admission is free.

‘Radius Abstractus’

“Radius Abstractus,” a solo exhibit by Augusto Sandroni runs through May 30 at the Tall Wall Space in the Arts and Communica­tions Building. Admission is free.

Girl Scouts tell scary ghost stories

In a makeshift “gypsy caravan” across from the post office in the Claremont Village, Girl Scout Troop No. 1094 had warm apple cider, chocolate chip cookies and fortune telling booths set up to welcome those visiting for their annual Claremont Village Ghost Walk. 

Concert features eclectic sonatas

Pomona College hosted a duo performance by violinist Jin-Shan Dai and pianist Jennie Jung Sunday at the Mabel Shaw Bridges Hall of Music in Pomona College.
