‘Baal’
The theater department presents “Baal” by Bertolt Brecht at 7:30 p.m Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday in Dailey Theater. The story revolves around Baal, a drunken poet, who contradicts the practices of the bourgeois society.
‘Essence in Pictures’
The Carlson Gallery exhibit “Essence in Pictures: Photography as a Collective Microtome” runs through April 10. The exhibit highlights works of ULV faculty members in natural sciences.
‘Scientific Magic’
The ‘Scientific Magic’ exhibition will run from April 2 to May 15 at the Harris Gallery. This exhibit features the recent sculptural paintings of Sarah Cromarty and photography works of Christopher Russell.
Directing Projects
The theater department presents student directing projects at 7:30 p.m. April 3 and 4 in the Jane Dibbell Cabaret. Admission is free.
‘Music and Dance of Bali’
The Pomona College Department of Music presents two shows of the “Music and Dance of Bali” at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Carolyn Lyon Garden and at 8 p.m. in the Bridges Hall of Music at Pomona College. These concert features jegog bamboo music and dance.
‘He Qi’
The Claremont School of Theology presents ‘He Qi: An Exhibition of Paintings by Chinese Artist” at 4 p.m. Sunday in Mudd Theater. Artist He Qi blends folk customs with traditional Chinese painting.
