Piano Recital
ULV professor and award-winning international solo artist Grace Xia Zhao will perform selected piano pieces featuring the works of Bach, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff and Tan Dun at 6 p.m. Sunday in Morgan Auditorium.
‘Poetry and Translation’
The Department of Modern Languages is sponsoring “Poetry and Translation: Three Nights of International Poets” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the dA Center for the Arts in Pomona, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday and 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday in the Campus Center.
Junior Recital
Cellist Alex Chong will perform musical pieces by Beethoven, Dvorak, Ligeti and Schumann at 8 p.m. Friday in Lyman Hall at the Thatcher Music Building in Pomona College.
2015 Trilateral Exhibition
The 2015 Trilateral exhibition highlights student works from local universities, including ULV. The reception is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at dA Center for the Arts in Pomona.
‘Ararat’
A film screening of “Ararat,” directed and written by Atom Egoyan, will be featured in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide at 7 p.m. Monday in the Rose Hills Theater at Pomona College.
Art Wall Unveiling
The ARTpix Art Wall will be unveiled at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Claremont Museum of Art.
It focuses on life in Claremont through a photograph exhibition taken by El Roble Middle School students.
