Literacy and Math Conference
The 10th annual Family Literacy and Math Conference is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at various locations on campus. Eleven authors will make presentations and talk with students at workshops. More than 800 students are expected to attend. The free event includes free lunch and a laser show.
Etiquette Dinner
The Office of Career Services will present the Spring 2015 Etiquette and Networking Dinner 5:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Campus Center Ballroom. Intramural Dodgeball
There will be intramural dodgeball games 10 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Athletics Pavillion. The event is organized by CAB and ASULV. Students interested can sign up in the Office of Student Life by noon Monday. There will be a captains’ meeting at 1 p.m. that same day.
Veterans Club
Senior honors students and the ULV Veterans Club are bringing awareness to veterans’ difficulties and collecting donations for veterans from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday at a booth in front of the Campus Center. Students and faculty members are encouraged to donate gently used clothing, blankets, books and magazines. All donations will go to veterans at the Long Beach Veterans Hospital. Caps and Gowns Sale
The last chance to purchase academic regalia, including caps, hoods, gowns and tassels, for spring commencement is from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday in the Campus Center.
