Finals Week

Final exams start today and end May 29. There are no finals on Monday, Memorial Day. Refer to the Registration Calendar for specific times.

Campus Closed

Campus will be closed on Monday in observance of Memorial Day.

Spring Commencement

The University of La Verne Spring Commencement for doctoral, master and bachelor students is on May 30 at the Ontario Citizens Business Bank Arena. The ceremony for the College of Arts and Sciences and LaFetra College of Education is at 10 a.m., and the ceremony for the College of Business and Public Management is at 3:30 p.m. Congratulations to the Class of 2015.

2015 Special Olympics

La Verne is hosting 113 delegations for the Special Olympics World Games July 21-24 and is selling wristbands for $5 at the Campus Center desk. For more information contact communityengagement@laverne.edu.

Commencement honors graduates’ achievements during the pandemic

The University of La Verne honored 2,337 graduating students from Spring 2020 and Winter 2021 in a series of virtual commencement ceremonies, and featured a speech from Dolores Huerta for the College of Arts and Sciences, delivered by her daughter Camila Chavez, on Jan. 30.

Supportive housing project sparks community backlash
