Law Art Gallery

The La Verne College of Law Art Gallery’s fall exhibit, “Continuum of Impact,” will have works by Chris Christion, Carelton Christy, Jeff Gillette, Ryan McIntosh, Dan Taulapapa and Jamaal Tolbert. The reception will be on Sept. 17 at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Art Mart

The Claremont Art Mart will feature the works of local artist vendors and live music at the Claremont Packing House every Friday from 5-9 p.m. Admission is free.

Ceramics

The American Museum of Ceramic Art will open a new exhibit, “Life Behind the Wheel,” showcasing the work of Jeff Blandford, Sept. 12. Adult admission is $7 and student admission is $5. For more information, visit amoca.org.

Art Show

The Claremont Art Show, “Invisible Energies,” by Grace explores the invisible energies that are constantly in motion all around us. The art show will be held at the Buddhamouse Emporium in Claremont, Sept. 13, from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Local Bands

The Los Angeles County Fair will have the third annual Battle of the Bands, Sept. 16, where local bands get to compete for a slot at the Vans Warped Tour. For more information about the bands performing, visit lacf.com.

Live Music

Friday Nights LIVE will feature classic rock, blues and a variety of other music by local musicians, at the Public Plaza in Claremont, Sept. 18 from 6-9 p.m. For admission information, call 909-624-1681.
