LVPD searches for 2 suspects

The La Verne Police Department is searching for two suspects who were involved in two different incidents involving middle-school boys.

The boys were harassed by the suspects Tuesday afternoon, according to an email sent by Loretta Rahmani, dean of student affairs. The first incident occurred on Bonita Avenue near A Street, and the second was in the Vons parking lot on Foothill Boulevard. Both incidents occurred between 2 and 3 p.m.

The first suspect is described as a thin 40- to 50-year-old Latino man with gray hair. He was last seen in light-colored pants and a dark T-shirt. He was driving a four-door light 1980s to 1990s Toyota Corolla.

The second suspect is described as a 20- to 25-year-old thin Latino man with black hair and brown eyes. He drove a light gray early 2000s four-door sedan.
