Fasnacht Lecture

Rabbi Eric Yoffie will deliver the fall 2015 Fasnacht Lecture, “Immigration, Israel/Palestine, Sexual Identity: Finding Solutions Through Interfaith Dialogue,” at 7 p.m. Oct. 22 in Morgan Auditorium.

‘Idiocracy’

Students Engaged in Environmental Discussion (SEEDS) and the La Verne Community Roundtable for Sustainable Solutions will screen the film “Idiocracy,” a futuristic dystopia, at 7 p.m. Oct. 23 in ACB 212.

Faculty Lecture

Cleveland Hayes, associate professor of education, will present the faculty lecture “We Teach Too: What can we learn from Marco and Arturo” at noon Oct. 27 in the President’s Dining Room.

Edward Romero

Edward Romero, former United States ambassador to Spain, will present a lecture at noon Oct. 28 in LaFetra Lecture Hall.
