‘From Where I’m Standing’

Los Angeles-based artist Hilary Baker’s exhibit “From Where I’m Standing” will be on display in the Harris Gallery from Monday through May 19. Admission is free.

‘Riverrun’

Ray Carofano’s exhibit “Riverrun: Photographs of the Los Angeles River” will run in the Carlson Gallery from Monday through May 27.  Admission is free.

Film Screening

The communications department will host the “Best of La Verne Film Screening,” featuring award-winning student films at 7 p.m., Saturday in LaFetra Auditorium.  Admission is free.

Student Recital

The music department is having a student recital at noon Friday at Morgan Auditorium. Six students will perform solo pieces of their own choosing.  Admission is free.

World Of Dance

The World Of Dance tour is coming to the Fairplex Saturday. The event will feature dancers from all over the world. For tickets and more information visit worldofdance.com.

Art Mart

The Claremont Art Mart will feature the works of local artists and vendors. Live music will be provided by the Claremont Packing House every Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is free.

Claremont Art Walk

The Claremont Village will host its monthly art walk from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday. The art walk is free and open to the public.
