Beatles and Barbershop

The A capella Barbershop Club will be performing a tribute to the Beatles titled “Barbershop Meets The Beatles” 5 p.m. Sunday in Morgan Auditorium. The show will feature performances from Carol and the Belles, Third Street Sound, Vox Populi and Jessica’s Angels. There will also be guest performances from quartets Ideal Situation and MAJiC Touch. General admission is $10 and students are free.

‘Electricidad’

The theater department presents “Electricidad,” a contemporary tragedy based on the Greek play “Electra” by Sophocles. The play, written by Luis Alfaro, opens Tuesday and runs through May 1. Showtimes are at 7:30 p.m. until April 30 and at 2 p.m. on May 1. General admission is $15, student admission is $5, and seniors, staff and alumni admission is $12.

‘La Verne Live’

The music department will feature its notable performers in a concert “La Verne Live: Best of ULV Music Department” 6 p.m. May 1 in Morgan Auditorium. There is a $20 suggested donation and students are free.

‘Birds and Bees’

There will be a choir concert “The Birds and the Bees” 7:30 p.m. May 7 in Morgan Auditorium.

Student Recital

There will be a music department student recital at noon May 13 in Morgan Auditorium. Admission is free.

West African Drumming

The West African Drumming Ensemble is having a concert at 7:30 p.m. May 18 in Morgan Auditorium. Admission is free.
