‘Electricidad’

The theater department’s production of “Electrici­dad” runs through Sunday. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. General admission is $15, students are $5, and seniors, staff and alumni are $12.

‘La Verne Live’

The music department will present “La Verne Live: Best of ULV Music Department” at 6 p.m. Sunday in Morgan Auditorium. There is a $20 suggested donation and students are free.

‘Birds and Bees’

There will be a choir concert “The Birds and the Bees” 7:30 p.m. May 7 in Morgan Auditorium.

Student Recital

There will be a music department student recital at noon May 13 in Morgan Auditorium. Admission is free.

West African Drumming

The West African Drumming Ensemble will perform at 7:30 p.m. May 18 in Morgan Auditorium. Admission is free.

Fox Theater

The seventh annual LaVernapalooza concert is at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Fox Theater in Pomona. The DJ group L.A. Leakers is set to be the opening act and Travis Scott has been announced as the new headliner. Tickets are still available at foxpomona.com.

Art Exhibit

The Center for Manage­ment in the Creative Industries is presenting the exhibit “An Exploration: A Group Exhibition,” from Monday through July 31 at the Alexander Hughes Com­munity Center in Claremont. For more information contact taylor.bythewoodporter@cgu.edu or darlene.zavala@cgu.edu.
