A sudden death nail-biter ended with a spirited celebration for the La Verne men’s water polo team as they gained a senior day win against the Austin College Kangaroos, 16-15, Saturday morning at the La Verne Aquatic Center.
The La Verne men’s water polo team fought aggressively to the final buzzer during an 8-6 loss to the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Stags in a Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup Wednesday evening at the La Verne Aquatic Center.
The La Verne men’s water polo team has two graduate students on the roster this year. After graduating with their bachelor’s degrees at the University of La Verne, they returned to get their master’s degrees and play water polo again.
The La Verne men’s water polo team intensely battled the Occidental Tigers but went flat defensively in the second half for a 22-16 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference loss Wednesday at the La Verne Aquatic Center.
