Senior Recital

Senior music major Terry Dopson will present his senior voice recital with Caelin Eager, music department piano accompanist. Dopson will perform two acts consisting of classical and musical theater pieces at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Morgan Auditorium. Admission is free.

Music of Shawn Kirchner

Composer and songwriter Shawn Kirchner will perform as part of the Sundays at the Morgan concert series at 2 p.m. Sunday in Morgan Auditorium. The suggested donation amount is $20. Student admission is free.

Modern Dance Workshop

Cabaret Student Productions will host a modern dance workshop at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Jane Dibbell Cabaret Theatre.

‘Framing Armenia’

The photo exhibition “Framing Armenia” by Diana Markosian and Scout Tufankjian will be on display starting April 3 in the Carlson Gallery. The project examines the Armenian Genocide and the Armenian diaspora. Markosian will give a lecture on the exhibit at 4:30 p.m. April 4 in Morgan Auditorium.

Lose Your Shoes

Music, refreshments and dancing will be provided by The Hive at the Claremont Colleges beginning at 8 p.m. Saturday. The Lose Your Shoes event will feature jazz, acapella, spoken word poetry, rock and rap performances, along with DJ sets. Featured artists include the Pomona Jazz Band, the After School Specials, Leandra and the Dream, and more. The event will be held at 130 E. 7th St. in Claremont.

Man detained in sexual battery case

At around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, campus safety detained an unnamed male wandering around the Athletic Pavilion. The suspect, who has been spotted on campus in the past, was later found by Campus Safety hiding in a second floor restroom.
