The women’s basketball team overcame a huge early deficit, scoring 35 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to beat the Whittier Poets, 78-72, Wednesday at the Frantz Athletic Court in the Leopards’ Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opener.
The women’s basketball team could not protect the ball nor capitalize on three point shooting, losing 66-41 in the Leopards’ first Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game of the season.
