La Verne Online
La Verne Online, which offers online and hybrid courses for students, has announced several staffing changes. Associate Professor Erin Gratz, previously the librarian of web and instructional technology, is the new senior director of La Verne Online. The program has also named Bryan Best as assistant director, Heidi Beezly as senior instructional designer, Cindy Saunders and Vivian Medrano as advisers, Nikita McWells as coordinator, Corrine Bicksler as administrative assistant and Jesse Martinez and Fred Gricscavage as associate directors of admission. The new positions were created after the recommendations of the Educational Innovation Task Force.
Financial Aid
Karen Lang will assume the role of interim director of the Office of Financial Aid on May 1. Lang has been with the department for 12 years and previously served as associate director. The search for a permanent director with begin in early fall.
Spirit of La Verne
