‘Unloaded’
The Harris Gallery will host the group exhibit “Unloaded” through Oct. 26. The exhibition is a collection of various artists’ work focused on the impact of guns on society.
Sundays at the Morgan
Singer, songwriter and actor Ronny Cox will perform from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday in Morgan Auditorium for the Sundays at the Morgan concert series.
‘Time Traveler’
“Time Traveler,” an expression of the four seasons by painter Rotem Reshef, is on display in the Tall Wall Space in the Arts and Communications Building through Dec. 15.
‘Forty Two Years’
The reception for Nick Ut’s exhibit “Forty Two Years and the Frequent Wind: Vietnamese Refugees in America” will be held from 5 p.m. 6 p.m. Sept. 21 in the Carlson Gallery. The exhibit runs through Oct. 13.
‘Imagine II’
The opening reception for “Imagine II: The Art of Children’s Book Illustration” will take place from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the dA Center for the Arts in Pomona.
The exhibit, featuring the work of several illustrators who will be at the reception to discuss their work, is a collaboration with the Society of Children’s Book Authors and Illustrators.
“Imagine II” runs through Sept. 23.
‘Plunder Me, Baby’
The opening reception for ceramic artist Kukuli Velarde’s work “Plunder Me, Baby” will be held from 6-9 p.m. Sept. 16 at the American Museum of Ceramic Art in Pomona. Velarde will discuss her work’s inspiration during an artist talk at 6:30 p.m.
