Trash collected from the trails included glass and plastic bottles, plastic bags and fast food wrappers. The student volunteers are members the Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science, or SACNAS. It was an evening of art at the Ground Floor Gallery in Miller Hall where Ethan Bermudez, junior photography major, and Natalie Medrano, senior photography major shared their exhibition called “Impairment” during the gallery reception Wednesday.
Family and friends were invited to dress up as their favorite superheroes for the San Dimas Superhero 5K run/walk on Saturday. All proceeds went to The Crime Survivors Resource Center, whose vision is for victims of crime to recover from their experience mentally, emotionally and financially by receiving support from their community, law enforcement and the judicial system.
