University Chaplain Zandra Wagoner lights a candle in honor of the victims of Sunday’s mass shooting in Las Vegas. The La Verne community was invited to participate in a candle lighting Monday at the Interfaith Chapel to mourn those affected by the shooting. With at least 58 people killed and nearly 500 injured, it was the deadliest mass shooting in modern American history. Both the Interfaith Chapel and Counseling and Psychological Services, or CAPS, are available for students who wish to pray or reflect. CAPS is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday./ photo by Spencer Croce
