With smiles all around, the men’s water polo team waved goodbye to a season full of growth and celebrated captain Peter Trinh for his senior day in a 23-7 win against the Whittier Poets at the La Verne Aquatic Center on Saturday morning.
The Leopards volleyball team was full of emotions Saturday as La Verne faced Whittier on Saturday, sweeping them 3-0 on senior night and earning home-court advantage for the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference semifinals.
Hundreds filled the stands at Ortmayer Stadium for Homecoming on Oct. 13 to cheer on the Leopards as they faced Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and lost, 30-17.
