Photographer David Gardner speaks to Ani Oganisian, junior English major, about his inspiration for photographing the series “Life on Wheels: The New American Nomads” while sharing the personal stories behind the photographs. Gardner told Oganisian how the couple in the photograph, David and Nola, lived in a recreational vehicle and traveled for five years while Nola wanted to stop because she missed her children and grandchildren. A reception for the photographer was held Nov. 8 in the Carlson Gallery. / photo by Katie Pyne
