Ensemble ‘comes together’ for Beatles tribute

In honor of Andrew Tompkins, a former University of La Verne diver and business administration major who died of cancer on Sept. 22, the University hosted a celebration of his life Oct. 3 in the Athletics Pavilion.

As part of the Sundays at the Morgan performances, “The Best of La Verne” was the last concert of the series for this semester as the University of La Verne ends the Lyceum program as part of an attempt at financial restructuring. 

Senior business administration major Austin Denison performs an acoustic version of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” Tuesday in the Jane Dibbell Cabaret Theatre as part of for Acoustic Art Night.

An intimate crowd was taught an eye-opening lesson about gentrification by La Verne honors program students Nov. 29 in the La Fetra Lecture Hall.
