‘The Labyrinth and Vicinity’

Visiting artist Danny Shain has a solo exhibit, “The Labyrinth and Vicinity,” in the West Gallery on the second floor of the Campus Center that runs through Dec. 15.

Shain created the paintings of “atmospheric abstraction” in the 1990s as individual panels to be made into one final configuration.

Senior Art Exhibition

Senior art majors’ work will be displayed from Tuesday through Dec. 15 in the Harris Gallery. An opening reception will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the gallery.

Choral Holiday Concert

The University Chorale and Chamber Singers will perform a concert of classic holiday songs at 6 p.m. Dec. 10 at the Church of the Brethren, 2425 E St. in La Verne.

‘The Ocean of Memories’

Adjunct Professor of Communications Danielle Eubank’s paintings will be featured in the exhibit “The Ocean of Memories” at the Taiwan Academy in Los Angeles.

The opening reception is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Academy, located at 1137 Westwood Blvd. in Los Angeles.

The exhibit runs through Feb. 16.

La Verne Symphony

The La Verne Symphony Orchestra will return with a concert featuring the work of Bach, Mozart, Faure and Bartok, as well as the premiere of “Sagrada Familia,” a new piece by former Adjunct Professor of Music Danielle Rosaria.

The performance will take place at 8 p.m. Dec. 10 in Morgan Auditorium.

Admission is free, although there is a suggested donation of $10.
