Sundays At The Morgan
The University of La Verne will celebrate Black History Month with Bruce A. Henry at 6 p.m. Feb. 18 at Morgan Auditorium. Admission is free for students. $20 suggested donation for everyone else.
Chris Christion and Jessica Wimbley display projects that contextualizie the visual arts within a “biomythography,” a literary term meaning a style of composition that weaves myth, history and biography in epic narrative. The exhibit will be on display in the Harris Gallery until April 26.
Claremont’s Art Mixers
On the third Saturday of every month, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., all creative mediums are encouraged to attend a studio session held at the West Claremont Center for Music and the Arts. Artists skilled in painting, drawing, crochet, sewing, jewelry, photography, graphic design and more will be present. For more information visit wcc-ma.org.
Fridays At Noon

Open Mic Night
The Folk Music Center will host its monthly open mic night Feb. 25. Sign ups begin at 6 p.m. and the first performer will hit the stage at 6:30 p.m. There is a $2 fee for attendees and performers.The center is located at 220 Yale Avenue in Claremont. For more information visit folkmusiccenter.com.
