Senior Recital

Gregory Ramirez’s senior recital will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Morgan Auditorium. Admission is free.

‘Gypsy Passion’

Michael Ryan and Friends will perform Spanish-style music for their concert “Gypsy Passion” at 6 p.m. March 11 in Morgan Auditorium for the Sundays at the Morgan series. Admission is free for students and there is a $20 suggested donation for everyone else.

‘Water Works’

Adjunct Professor of Communications Danielle Eubank showcases her new solo exhibit “Water Works” at the Channel Islands Maritime Museum through March 25. Admission is $7 for adults and $3 for children. The museum is located at 3900 Bluefin Circle in Oxnard. For more information visit cimmvc.org.

Call for Artists

The College of Law in Ontario is looking for artists to display their work in its gallery space for its upcoming exhibit in May. The exhibit’s theme is “Travels on the West Coast.” Submit your work to curator Catalina Lopez at clopez4@laverne.edu with attachments of images or a digital portfolio by March 31.

Saturday Night Art Walk

The Claremont Village hosts participating galleries and artists for its free monthly art walk from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday.

Artisan Market

Merchants and artists will sell artisan goods and handmade crafts from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the Claremont Packing House, located at 532 W. 1st Street. For more information visit claremontpackinghouse.com.

In the heart of the Claremont Village, the Claremont Art Walk bursted with color and passion on Saturday evening, lighting up the streets as people wandered West Second Street and North Yale Avenue. 

Publishing house sustains diversity

The Claremont Packing House, in the heart of Claremont Village, welcomed its latest addition with the grand opening of Curious Publishing Art and Bodega on Oct. 22  at 532 W. First St.
