‘Articulation’

“Articulation: New Wall Works,” an exhibit of Keith Lord’s wood sculptures, will kick off with a reception and artist talk hosted by professor of mathematics Michael Frantz, at noon Wednesday in the West Gallery in the Campus Center.

‘Cabaret’

The theater department will present “Cabaret,” a musical set in 1931 Berlin before the Nazis’ rise to power.

Show times are 7:30 p.m. April 26, 27, 28, May 3, 4, 5 and 2 p.m. May 6 in Dailey Theatre.

Suggested donation is $15 for general admission, $12 for staff and seniors and $8 for students.

Leo Lineup

The Campus Center introduces the Leo Lineup, a new series that hosts live music and DJs at 10 p.m. Wednesdays in the Campus Center. DJ ErickM will perform April 25.

Fridays at Noon

Faculty, staff and students of the music department present a short recital representing many genres at noon Friday in Morgan Auditorium. 

‘Best of La Verne’

“Best of La Verne,” features students and faculty of the music department sharing the Morgan Auditorium stage at 6 p.m. May 6 to wrap up the year’s Sunday at the Morgan concert series.

There is a suggested donation of $20 and free admission for students. 

Carlson Gallery

Photography department faculty members display their various approaches, styles, equipment and procedures in a new exhibit called, “Capture and the Seamless Stream: The Seductive Illusion of the Decisive Moment.” 

The exhibit runs through May 25 in the Carlson Gallery in Miller Hall.
