The La Verne swimming and diving team’s double-dual meet against Redlands and the Masters University on Saturday afternoon at Las Flores Park saw the Leopards struggling to stay afloat.
The La Verne Leopards faced off against the Whittier Poets for a wet and rainy Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Homecoming football game with La Verne coming out the victors, 43-20, after big plays and even bigger lightning strikes on Oct. 15 at Ortmayer Stadium.
The women’s volleyball team dominated in its Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opener Tuesday night with a 3-0 sweep over the Redlands Bulldogs.
