Wearing denim to raise awareness

Al Clark, professor of humanities, participates in Denim Day by wearing a boot leg cut jean instead of his traditional business slacks Wednesday. Denim Day raises awareness of sexual assault, originating from a 1999 case in Italy where a young girl was sexually assaulted by her driving instructor. The chief judge from the case argued the victim consented to sex, since her jeans were too tight for the attacker to remove without help.
